Melania Trump Caught In $150 Million Lawsuit: A First For The Flotus Office?

Donald isn't the only Trump family member who is raging a war against fake news. Melania Trump is taking the fight to court with a $150 million lawsuit against a Mail Online blogger who claimed she worked as a high-end escort in the 1990s'.

FLOTUS and her lawyers are arguing that the fake news has made her brand lose "significant value" and has affected "major business opportunities that were otherwise available to her."

The money may be boosting headlines for media outlets. But, the money doesn't matter. What matters is that the blogger admits he LIED and profited from promoting fake news. Fortunately, he has done exactly that!

“I posted an article on August 2, 2016, about Melania Trump that was replete with false and defamatory statements about her. I had no legitimate factual basis to make these false statements and I fully retract them,” said blogger Webster Griffin Tarpley of Maryland.

Add a point for Melania in the win column because she was able to finally get the media to admit fault. Though, the First Ladies victory has taken heat from some critics who claim that she is trying to run with the money.

First Lady historian Myra Gutin of Rider University has noted that if Melania Trump accepts any profits from the lawsuit it will be a first for the office. However, a spokesperson for Melania stated that she has no plans to profit from her position.

It may be a first for the FLOTUS office, but the lawsuit is not a first for the Oval. President Theodore Roosevelt took a Michigan newspaper to court after they called him a drunk. The case was eventually thrown out after the reporter apologized and shook the hand of Roosevelt.

President Trump has vowed to "open up" laws making ti easier for people to take media outlets to court.

SHARE if you are proud of Melania for standing up to the liars in the media!
