Megyn Kelly's career is truly suffering in the post-election world. It's clear that her inconstancies have led her viewers to question her ability to report the news.
Some days Kelly is anti-Trump and other days she's willing to give him a shot. In fact, recently she was booed off stage at a Hollywood Reporter event for simply mentioning his name.
This time, Kelly was in a positive mood and said that she has "high hopes" for Trump. Well, in a room filled with liberals her wishy washy personality was answered with boos from celebrities like Kathy Griffin.
Although she is one of the media's biggest instigator, she may be giving up on her Trump battle. If there's one thing Megyn Kelly loves to talk about it's herself. In an interview before Trump's win, Kelly sat down with Variety to dish on her job, the election, and, without fail, her feud with Donald.
But Kelly did finally give us a refreshing taste of information when she shared that her contract with FOX was up after the 2016 election. The best part? She might not renew it!
"I've had a great 12 years here, and I really like working for Roger Ailes," she says. "I really like my show, and I love my team. But you know, there's a lot of brain damage that comes from the job."
Is that her excuse?
"There was probably less brain damage when I worked in the afternoon. I was less well known. I had far less conflict in my life."
It could be that she was working in the afternoon, or it could be that without picking a fight with Donald Trump, Kelly would STILL be unpopular.
Trump is constantly criticized for his remarks about Megyn, yet is the world forgetting her BIAS reporting on Trump?
Kelly hinted that her next steps may be spending more time at home with her family. We'll see--or rather we hope NOT TO SEE her on FOX after this year!
